Chocolate No Bake Cookies

Traditional chocolate no bake cookies. Tucker's favorite.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 C. sugar
  • ¼ C. cocoa
  • ½ C. milk
  • 3 C. quick oats
  • ½ C. peanut butter
  • 1 Tsp. vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Combine butter, sugar, cocoa, and milk to a sauce pan.
  • While whisking bring to a boil.
  • Stop whisking and continue to boil for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and add in the vanilla, peanut butter, and oats.
  • Stir until combined. Then spoon onto parchment paper until cool.
  • Enjoy!

Baked Chocolate Chip Oat Bars (Unleavened)

Mixture of a cookie and a granola bar. Great option for an unleavened treat during Passover and Unleavened Bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 C. Butter
  • ¾ C. Brown sugar
  • ½ Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 ½ C. Flour
  • 1 ½ C. Oats
  • 2 C. Chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Cream the butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla together.
  • Then add in remaining ingredients to the creamed ingredients.
  • Line a 11×15 sheet pan with parchment paper. Dump out the dough and press onto the pan covering about ¾ of the pan or desired thickness.
  • Bake for about 20-23 minutes. Just until the edges start to brown. Do not over cook or the bars will be crumbly.
  • Once done take parchment paper off the sheet pan and cute into squares. Store leftovers in an air tight container.

Notes

You could also add in coconut with the chocolate chips. Or completely switch it up and add in raisins and cinnamon.
